Sonny and Cher / Evaluation
This is our Sonny and Cher - 'I Got You Babe' lip sync exercise. We used one camera to film, so we made sure we used plenty of different angles and shots included. Hope you enjoy it!
EVALUATION
Pros
- I believe that we used a variety of different shots and angles well while filming which helped us while editing as any points that were off in one shot, we were able to cut and add in another shot which would flow perfectly. We used many different shots e.g. close ups, extreme close ups, medium shots and high/low angle shots.
- Myself and Taju also made sure that we took a good few 15-20 minutes to learn the lyrics off by heart so that it was easier while editing and filming as we didn't have to repeat so many shots and lines again. We made sure the song was stuck in our head and had a lot of practise runs before finally beginning to film.
-As well as this we also made sure to act as well as learn the lyrics.
Cons
- Although, we made sure that we acted very while, there are some parts of the music video that looks awkward and dull compared to other parts. To change this we could have editing those parts in more detail and filmed again acting out to our best ability.
-Another con is that there are some points that do not match up with the lyrics. To change this we needed to spend more time while editing in order to make sure that our lips were in sync with the music.

Welcome blog
Hello, my name is Abi Raji and this my A2
Media Blog, which will be on Pop Music! Throughout this blog you will see my progression of editing and how I build my lip syncing skills from our practice task to our actual music video. I carried on Media at A2, as I very much enjoyed it at AS and have learnt so many skills along the way, which I can use in the future, through the use of various different things such as editing YouTube videos.
